Installing the USB7/AVR-CDC driver in Vista

Download the Driver

The USB7 uses bulk transfers to a low-speed USB device. To enable this functionality and the USB7, we'll use Osamu Tamura's lowbulk AVR-CDC driver.

Downlaod the driver from spiffie.org or visit the Recursion Co., Ltd. page.

Install the Driver

Extract the downloaded zip archive and follow the Windows XP directions, but using the inf file avrcdc\inf\vista\lowbulk.inf from the extracted zip archive.
